Winner to receive $2,500 gift card for ‘Stepping-Up’ Donation
UTICA, N.Y. – United Way of the Mohawk Valley’s Step-Up Incentive is back for the 11th year! This incentive runs through May 2023 alongside the organization’s annual fundraising efforts, including their Workplace Campaign. It offers donors a chance to win a $2,500 gift card thanks to United Way’s Workplace Campaign Sponsor, Staffworks.
Individuals can enter United Way MV’s Step-Up Incentive drawing by “stepping up” their annual giving to United Way by at least $100 or make a gift of at least that amount for the first time.
Donations to United Way MV fund dozens of local non-profit programs and initiatives and help thousands of people in this community. The reach of a donation to United Way is vast, but local, helping 1 in 3 people in the Mohawk Valley.
“My United Way contribution touches community segments that I would otherwise miss,” stated Anita Vitullo, Staffworks President. “It's rewarding to know that my support provides the broadest reach possible for my hometown community.”

Last year’s Step-Up Incentive helped raise more than $37,000 in additional donations from community members.
